Sip Savor Stomp ushers in the holiday season at the Royal Oak Farmers Market with a festive charity wine tasting. Royal Oak, Michigan (August 15, 2013) – The 2nd annual Sip Savor Stomp is Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Royal Oak Farmers Market (316 E. 11 Mile, Royal Oak). The event, which is presented by Westborn Markets, runs from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. and features nearly 100 wines from across the world. General admission is $40; VIP passes are $60 and allow guests to enter an hour earlier and enjoy a premium selection of wine and cuisine. Proceeds benefit AIDS Walk Detroit, a Michigan-based organization that provides financial support for programs in HIV prevention, education and services for HIV positive individuals. The organization promotes public awareness through events and activities to ensure people living with HIV/AIDS are treated with dignity and respect. Live music will be provided by Ben Sharkey.
